Based on NTNU Social Research's ownership of the National Competence Center for Mental Health Work (NAPHA), the department has implemented a strategic initiative to strengthen user- and service-oriented research activity that will support NAPHA's core mission. The initiative is also based on the need to strengthen research-based knowledge development within mental health work as expressed in HelseOmsorg21.
